Apico uk, have just launched their new 2010 range which includes some of the most exciting products of recent years. The forged aluminium foot rests & flexi lever sets look and work awesome, whilst the new ARTRAX brake pads are a quality product retailing at an amazing £10.15.

The pick of the new range has to be the new COSWORTH pistons. Available for later 4 stroke models, they ooze quality and perform unbelievably well as jonno can attest as we are running one in our RMZ250!

It's official! KAIS are now an official UK OHLINS centre. Our long association with OHLINS has now been takien up a level meaning that we now have direct support from the Swedish factory and can in turn provide an even better service to our customers!

The latest products are in stock including the exciting off road ranhe which includes TTX44 shock absorber, TTX fork cartridge, 2.1 steering damper & the market leading 85cc cartridge kit.

New Z-carbon range coming very soon

A new range of carbon accessories from Zeta (Z-carbon) will be in stock next week. Zeta are already synonomous with trick after market bits to bling your ride and the new carbon bits are absolutely gorgeous. Using a high quality, hard wearing weave they are super strong too!

The range includes exhaust guards & hand guards as well as guards for the rear caliper, rear disc, chain & front sprocket. Accessories are arriving next week and they will be available to but online from the KAIS e-shop from then!

Yoshi RS2 systems dropped in price!

With the current economic climate, prices are fluctuating daily. This can be bad news or in the case of the Yoshimura RS2 race systems this can be a good thing. Available for the RMZ range and the DRZ supermoto, the RRP has been dropped this year to £530 for the full stainless system with aluminium diamond oval.

With the L10 RMZ450's sat on the shop floor and the 250Z and 450X imminent, now could be a good time to think about next years racing. and more importantly, how to get race winning performance!

The Yoshimura MX tuner is now available from stock the Z250 and 450 comes complete with a 12v battery lead whereas the 450X comes redy to go. The tuner is the easiest and most effective way of modifying your fuelling and ignition to your own persomal requirements, whether it be smoother throttle response or better lower down grunt!

The tuners retail at £661.39 (or £648.17 for the RMZ 450X). Kit headgaskets and camshafts are also available as is the new FI (Fuel Injection) fault light asssembly.

Sorry for the late report i have been busy with people away! KAIS supported rider Michael 'Jack' Russell. had a great 2009 Manx GP with a win in the seior and a fine 4th place in the Junior race averaging over 116mph. Jack is already his assault of the island for next year but this time in the world famous TT races. We are looking to continue our association and look forward to a good result next year. well done Jack!

Yoshimura introduce Titan Blue sleeve

Yoshimura have introduced a new sleeve finish to their arsenal. The finish will be known as "titan blue" which is a coloured titanium sleeve produced by electrolytic oxidation. The finish will be available for most of the range of cans coming out of the Japanese factory! the treating process offers a higher hardness and a continuous barrier offering protection against wear, corrosion and heat!

These cans will be exclusive an are special order with a lead time of no longer than 2 weeks and will be made specifically on receipt of order.

KAIS bladder conversion

The new-look KAIS bladder conversion is now available to retail customers. It is available to fit most PDS units to give an initially plusher feel. We felt that it was about time it had a face lift, and so now, comes in a bright graphite finish, complemented by the newly shaped red end cap. Initial reaction is good and they are selling well. they can either be purchased for £69.95 or installed in house (Ring for details)!

Yes that's right. Suzuki's latest offering is now available to buy and is sat on the showroom floor waiting for a new home. the big Sazook has benefitted this year from some subtle changes making the performance and throttle response gretaer than ever. Our man Johno tested the 450 on Thursday of last week and hasn't stopped smiling yet.

The new bikes have an RRP of £5799.

Ulster GP and Dundrod 100.

Last week saw the running of the 2009 Dundrod 100 and Ulster GP road races. Once again our man "Bullet" Barber travelled over to the Emerald isle to see how he would fair this year. After being rained off last year, ob felt he had unfinished business. At the Dundrod, Rob put his R6 on pole, which was no mean feat considering we finished building the bike a day before it went on the ferry so he had had no prior testing. During the race, Rob got a sluggish start and dropped back and lost any chance of a tow from the leader but fought back and finished a fine second (not bad for a 15 1/2 stone lad on a standard supersport bike!! 2 podiums in 2 years.

At the Ulster, Rob suffered engine problems on his superstock bike but still managed a fine 10th in the first superstock race and a 12 the in the supersport. More details when i get them!
